First Inaugural and Chinese New Year Celebration Gala 2018

A new milestone in the history of Canada Chinese Construction Renovation Association (CCCRA)

The founding ceremony of Canada Chinese Construction Renovation Association was held on February 3, 2018 in Toronto and it gathered hundreds of industrial elites that night and was a big success.

The purpose of the association’s establishment is to gather the elites of contractors, developers, professional consultants and building material suppliers in the Chinese communities, to build a cooperation platform for members to share information and help each other. This will open up a new chapter in Chinese construction, renovation, and related industries.

CCCRA is a non-profit organization, managed by a group of well known and experienced board of directors. It consists of nineteen directors: Raymond Wan, President; Raymond Wong and Thomas Yeung, the vice presidents. Kay Ng, the treasurer. The remaining directors include Peter Yip, Jeffrey Yang, Guinea Wong, Kenny Zhang, Alan Ding, Zhizhao Yan, Benny Tan, Jennifer Yang, CY Zhang, Candy Hou, Joanna Yu, Tommy Huang, Justin Zheng, Andy Zhang, Alex Huang

CCCRA is pleased to invite Tsang Kai Wing, Barrister as the legal advisor, Kenny Wan, C.A. as the tax advisor, and Henry Chiu Architect as the advisor of the Building Regulations.

The ceremony was started with the president Mr. Raymond Wan, who delivered his inaugural speech. He mentioned that from the Chinese people’s participation in the construction of Canadian railways over a hundred years ago, many elites and professional construction teams have emerged in the construction and decoration industry. The Chinese have been making a big contribution to the construction in Canada over the years. With the expansion and improving Canada-China relations, there will be more and more large-scale construction projects from China’s investment. We hope that the Chinese elites in Canada will invest and establish a platform to share information and meet the opportunities and challenges together. Boarding the giant cruise ship that is sailing toward a new career peak.

The three-level Canadian government fully affirmed and supported the establishment of the association. Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, sent a congratulatory message. Michael Chan, Ministry of International Trade, delivered a keynote speech and expressed high hopes for the development of the association.

Shaun Chen MP, representatives of Geng Tan MP, Alan Ho Councillor, City of Markham, Castro Liu Councillor, City of Richmond Hill, and Chin Lee, City of Toronto Councillor, made speeches respectively and issued letters of appointment to the members of the association.

There were magnificent lion dances, cultural performances, and raffle events at the ceremony. The guests enthusiastically applied for membership. The logo of the association shines on large LED screens. The night left a bright smile and brilliant footprint for every guest. The Fairchild TV took the lead to report the grand celebration on the second day.
